2 Suggestion
I recently came across your Reddit post while looking for an alternative to Lightshot. I tried your app, and I have to say—it’s already amazing. Thank you for developing it!
However, there's one drawback that's holding me back from fully switching: the lack of an option to upload screenshots to third-party storage services like Imgur, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, etc.
Feature Suggestions:
Third-Party Upload Integration
Please consider adding the ability to upload directly to third-party storage platforms. In the settings, users could connect their accounts and choose a default upload method. With this, screenshots could be uploaded in a single click. This feature would set your app apart from Lightshot and make it a must-use for me.
Window Detection / Smart Snapping
A feature like Snagit/Greenshot window detection would be a huge usability boost—where the app automatically detects and highlights UI windows for precise capturing.
I can’t speak for every user, but I’ve researched and tested many similar tools. None of them quite hit the mark until now. Your app comes very close to being the ideal solution. If users could control where and how screenshots are uploaded, this would truly be a game changer.
Keep up the great work.

Hey, thanks a lot for the thoughtful feedback and kind words 🙌 Both ideas sound really great, I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the roadmap.
I’m especially curious about the window detection / smart snapping — could you share a bit more about your use case? I personally don’t use it much myself, so it would be helpful to understand in which situations it’s most valuable (maybe presentations, docs, etc.).
Since you mentioned Snagit — I assume you’re open to paid tools. I wonder, what’s the main reason you’d need cloud integrations like Dropbox/OneDrive/Imgur? Is it more for corporate screenshots or just convenience? And do you think it would feel fair if I added cloud integrations as part of a small subscription or one-time price?
Right now I’m focused on video recording support and a couple of other tasks, but I’ll think over your suggestions carefully and study your case in more detail.
Thanks again for helping shape the app 🚀

Thanks for the thoughtful reply — really appreciate you taking the time.
Yes, I’d definitely recommend trying Snagit’s free trial if you haven’t already. It has smart window detection and built-in cloud upload, which makes it super handy for organizing media. Where smart snapping really shines — it saves time and keeps things professional. Regarding cloud uploads: the main reason I suggested it is for better control and organization. Imgur recently stopped supporting uploads via API, so alternatives like Box, Google Drive, or OneDrive could be great options if they allow integration. I’m not deeply familiar with their APIs, but even basic support would help users manage their media more efficiently.
I Suggest Box for cloud storage and Asana for Project management if you really thinks about integration.
Also You can make your current website to upload and manage and organize the screenshots so that user will get full control. (With a account)
Also, I think a small one-time payment or lifetime license (like IDM’s model) could work well. It gives users a sense of ownership and makes the app stand out from subscription-heavy competitors. Just don’t forget about us free users — even limited cloud options or basic integrations would be a huge win 😊 I’m sharing a video with you that shows a bit more about how I use Snagit, and here’s the link to try it out if you’re curious. linkL https://www.techsmith.com/download/snagit/
Note: I did not try to upload media on box or other, I just explored these for looking a best one.
Keep up the great work — your app is already ahead of most, and with a few tweaks, I think it could become the go-to tool for a lot of professionals.
