Sometimes it crashes out of nowhere
This was the best app I found for this type of function, but sometimes I get a little annoyed with a problem. Sometimes it happens that OUT OF NOWHERE it stops working. The shortcut key no longer works, nor does going directly to the app. There's no point in closing and reopening the program. The only solution is to restart the computer.

Allow "Silent Quick Save" on Ctrl+S & Fix Ctrl+Shift+S (Save History shortcut is broken)
Currently, the saving workflow in Sleekshot has some friction, and a shortcut is broken in the latest Microsoft Store version (v0.0.56.0). 1. The Broken Shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+S) In v0.0.56.0, there is a new feature: "Save history". Right-clicking the floppy disk icon allows selecting a recent folder to save instantly without the Windows Explorer popup. However, pressing Ctrl+Shift+S does absolutely nothing. The shortcut is currently broken and does not trigger this action. 2. The "Auto-save" Behavior Enabling "Auto-save" saves the image automatically when copying (Ctrl+C). This forces an automatic save even when a user only wants to copy-paste an image to the clipboard. The Suggestion: Fix the Ctrl+Shift+S shortcut so the recent locations feature actually works via keyboard. Add a True "Silent Quick Save" on Ctrl+S: If a default save folder is configured, pressing Ctrl+S (or left-clicking the save icon) should instantly save the image to that folder using an automatic timestamp name (e.g., Print_20260713_1715.png), completely bypassing the Windows Explorer "Save As" popup. This would separate the actions cleanly: Ctrl+C: Copies to clipboard only. Ctrl+S: Instantly saves to the default folder in the background with zero popups.

Please help me with this
whenever I’m taking a screenshot, its saving 2 same screenshots. what should i do😭
New feature request
If it were possible, along with the copy/save/send buttons, there could be a button where you clicked and the screenshot would be in a separate window, without copying or saving, just to have a window visible for some consultation or comparison.

Attachment Glitch
Hello, When taking a screenshot within the app and pasting it into an older version of Outlook, the screenshot is added as an attachment. However, other images or those captured with the Snipping Tool are inserted directly into the body of the email. In contrast, the new Outlook embeds images directly within the email using Sleekshot, rather than as an attachment, which is clearly the preferred method. I am trying to determine if there is an issue with how Sleekshot is creating the image as an attachment. Although the older version of Outlook may eventually become obsolete, I understand that many companies and individuals will continue using it until they are required to switch. Please let me know what you discover!
Customize Colors
Today we can choose the color from 6 predefined colors (red, light green, dark green, yellow, black and white). Would be nice to have an option to customize these colors in the app settings. eg: For me would be usefull to have a royal blue instead of light green.
Editing drawn elements
It would also be very useful to have the ability to move and resize drawn elements in the Sleekshot editor, such as arrows, rectangles, and other shapes. Sometimes it’s necessary to adjust the position or size of an annotation after placing it, and this flexibility would make the editing process much smoother. I also want to say thank you for creating Sleekshot. I’ve been looking for a Windows alternative to Shottr on macOS for a long time, and Sleekshot is by far the best option I’ve found. It’s lightweight, fast, not overloaded with unnecessary features, and the controls feel very natural and well-designed. I really appreciate the clean and focused approach — it’s exactly the kind of tool I was searching for.

Image hosting? Question
Hi! I really like your app! Thanks for making it! I noticed that I can host my image on the internet. Can you tell me how long this hosting period is (how long will this image be available via the link) and is there a profile where I can see all the images I have hosted? Sorry if I posted the question in the wrong place, I couldn't find another one 😅
Suggestions
Hi! I’d like to leave a few suggestions for improvements here: Highlighter Vibrant / Bolder colors Exemplo: SleekShot’s yellow looks much lighter/fainter than the Windows default. Snap to straight line Exemplo: Holding Shift keeps the highlighter moving in a perfectly straight line along the mouse's direction. Shapes Shape connectors Exemplo: Ability to draw rectangles and use lines (solid or dashed) to snap and connect one rectangle to another (or any other shape). Multi-point / Elbow lines and arrows (Waypoints) Exemplo: Drag an arrow or line to a point, press a key (like Shift) to turn/angle it, press again to branch in another direction, and keep drawing or adding inflection points to create a custom path.
previous screenshot region
I’d like to have another keyboard shortcut, for example CTRL-PrtSc or SHIFT-PrtSc to capture the same region that was last captured.
Incrementing Step Suggestion
Hi, I’m coming from Greenshot and FlameShot. Can you add a incrementing Step option? Creates a filled circle with an incrementing number. First circle is 1, second is 2 etc. I use this alot for creating Steps in screenshots. “Click this first then this” Thanks!
Screenshot size with display scaling
The issue: I’m using a 4K monitor with 150% scaling in Windows. Because of this, the system renders everything as if the screen were essentially 2K. When I take a screenshot, I would like the final image size to match this logical resolution (2K in my case), instead of the full physical 4K resolution. My use case: I work in web development and design, and I often need to capture a specific area to paste into Figma or another editor, where the size should match 1:1 with what I see on screen. Currently, due to scaling, the captured image ends up larger than expected. Feature request: It would be great to have an option to capture screenshots in logical pixels, ignoring DPI scaling, so the final image size matches what is visually rendered on the screen. Thank you! I really enjoy using Sleekshot, and this feature would make it even more useful for developers and designers.
