Hey! The Microsoft Store has just approved my app submission. You can now update Sleekshot to version 0.0.42 — the bug should be fixed. I’ll release an update with multiscreen screenshot and gemini fix in a couple of days. Thanks a lot for your feedback!

That’s very critical. I tested it many times and didn’t see the problem (or I might have seen it earlier, but already fixed it). I’ve just rolled back the version. Thank you, Nelson — that’s very valuable. I still need some time for my submission to be approved on the Microsoft Store. I’ll let you know once the rollback is live there.

At the moment, I’ve tested it on three different computers running Windows 11 with different screens, as well as on Windows 10 — everything works fine. I’m still trying to reproduce the issue.
The only case I’ve noticed is when using two monitors and trying to capture both at once. If the monitors have different sizes, the smaller one may show black areas around it. Could you give me more details: how many screens you’re using, which version of Windows, your screen resolution, the screenshot image format (PNG, JPEG, WebP), and the exact steps you take to reproduce it? Does it happen for every selection area?

Hi Viktor,
Correct I have 2 different monitors with different resolutions. One is from the laptop, the other is a wide screen which is my main screen.
Hope this helps to diagnose the issue.
Thank you,

Thanks for the feedback, Nelson 🙏 Just to confirm, do you see the black areas on every screenshot (even with a very small capture rectangle), or only in specific cases, such as when capturing across two monitors?

I normally take screenshots for selected areas in one screen, now its just too weird, everything is coming black now.
it seems its picking the corner of the screen only, a few examples:
(1) Selected middle of the screen: (2) selected a corner of the wider screen (3) entire wider screen (4) corner of the wider screen
