Allow "Silent Quick Save" on Ctrl+S & Fix Ctrl+Shift+S (Save History shortcut is broken)

Currently, the saving workflow in Sleekshot has some friction, and a shortcut is broken in the latest Microsoft Store version (v0.0.56.0).

1. The Broken Shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+S)

In v0.0.56.0, there is a new feature: "Save history".

  • Right-clicking the floppy disk icon allows selecting a recent folder to save instantly without the Windows Explorer popup.

  • However, pressing Ctrl+Shift+S does absolutely nothing. The shortcut is currently broken and does not trigger this action.

2. The "Auto-save" Behavior

Enabling "Auto-save" saves the image automatically when copying (Ctrl+C). This forces an automatic save even when a user only wants to copy-paste an image to the clipboard.

The Suggestion:

  • Fix the Ctrl+Shift+S shortcut so the recent locations feature actually works via keyboard.

  • Add a True "Silent Quick Save" on Ctrl+S: If a default save folder is configured, pressing Ctrl+S (or left-clicking the save icon) should instantly save the image to that folder using an automatic timestamp name (e.g., Print_20260713_1715.png), completely bypassing the Windows Explorer "Save As" popup.

This would separate the actions cleanly:

  1. Ctrl+C: Copies to clipboard only.

  2. Ctrl+S: Instantly saves to the default folder in the background with zero popups.
